Not every glamorous wedding needs a huge ballroom with heavy chandeliers, voluminous gowns, and elaborate updo hairstyles. Glamour can also be modern—and in this wedding inspiration, we’ll show you how. The goal is to combine the beauty of a classic fairytale wedding with the lightheartedness of a modern wedding celebration. Instead of an opulent castle, a charming tavern serves as the wedding venue. The decor and floral arrangements skillfully highlight the charm of the space and, thanks to their vibrant colors, evoke the spirit of spring.
View InspirationFor years now, we’ve been advising couples like you to get married exactly the way you want to. You should let go of other people’s expectations and celebrate your love in a way that feels right to you. Larry Harvey already had this mindset back in 1948, and to put it into practice, he organized a festival in the Nevada desert with 20 people—the first Burning Man. This small event has not only become the most spectacular, craziest festival in the world, but also the inspiration for this wedding theme.
View InspirationAccording to the Austrian Ministry of Family Affairs’ website, the day of the wedding ceremony is also called a “green wedding.” If you’re like us and think of a wedding that focuses on nature, sustainability, and maybe even a green color scheme, then this wedding inspiration from Tyrol is just right for you.

View InspirationIt’s the details that make a wedding design stand out. Even small changes can have a huge impact on the look and feel of your wedding—so much so that the result seems like it’s from an alternate timeline, as if you were in a time-travel wedding movie.

There are two types of wedding inspiration. One showcases beautiful, cohesive wedding concepts that couples can adopt relatively easily and integrate into their own wedding design—the boho wedding is arguably one of the classics in this category. This styled shoot belongs to the other type of wedding inspiration. It’s the kind that shows you just how unique a wedding design can be when professional vendors bring individual elements together with great sensitivity to create a harmonious whole.

Good design follows certain rules. It doesn’t matter whether it’s graphic, interior, product, or wedding design. Many of these “design laws” state that you shouldn’t mix different styles. But aren’t rules meant to be broken? After all, Andy Warhol, Jay-Z, and architects have done just that—and created fantastic works as a result. Professionals who know what they’re doing are allowed to defy the rules. This wedding inspiration—where the boundaries between industrial, boho, and fine art seem to blur—shows you what the result can look like when professional wedding vendors do just that.
View InspirationAlongside the performing arts, fine art is considered the art of the arts. It encompasses painting, sculpture, architecture, graphic art, photography, and crafts. This diversity requires a great deal of expertise and skill, especially when creating fine-art wedding designs, because otherwise there’s a real risk of slipping into kitsch. This wedding inspiration, created exclusively for our Upper Austrian Wedding Book, shows you what a successful fine art wedding can look like.
View InspirationWeddings during the colder months have many advantages: Most vendors aren’t as hopelessly booked up as they are in the summer, and the lower demand often shows up in the price as well. But what if you’re really longing for that carefree summer vibe for your wedding? Then let this styled shoot inspire you. Here, you’ll see just how summery—and even tropical—a winter wedding in Austria can be.

Most winter weddings follow one of two color schemes. Either you go with winter classics like bright red, dark green, and elegant gold—which, in unprofessional hands, can quickly take on a Christmas vibe—or you draw inspiration from the color palette of the Disney classic *Frozen* and design the wedding in blue, white, and silver to match the setting. Even though these themes have proven popular, we say, “Let it go!” 🎶

Although Paris is considered the “City of Love,” the world’s most famous love story actually took place in Verona. It’s a coincidence that the bride in this styled shoot—like the protagonist of that story—is also named Juliet. But the fact that Italy served as the inspiration for the wedding design is no coincidence. Admittedly, the “ Schloss Vasoldsberg ” is a bit farther from the sea than the land of la Dolce Vita. Large weddings are like a thunderstorm that lets its heavy downpour slap against windowpanes like thunderous applause, while it announces with deep thunder and blinding flashes of lightning that something significant is happening here. Elopements are more like a gentle midnight summer rain, carried through the street by the wind like a soft whisper and noticed by most people only when it fills the air the next morning with the scent of summer freshness, new beginnings, and adventure. This elopement photo shoot took place after a night of just such a drizzle.
