The phrase “You met last week” probably doesn’t come up very often in wedding speeches. That’s because the love between engaged couples is usually rooted in a strong foundation that has grown through shared experiences and adventures, becoming deeply embedded in the lives of the bride and groom. So what better place to celebrate this love than a greenhouse?
The harvested field, with its vast expanse, recedes pleasantly into the background, while love is in full bloom. This contrast is heightened by the bride and groom’s attire: the elegant blue wedding dress looks as if it could have been sewn from flower petals itself, and the groom, too, does not shy away from using bold colors to express the profound and joyful significance of the day.
In the design of this greenhouse wedding, too, it is this interplay of contrasts that creates a unique look: The metaphor of the blossoming of love begins with the engagement ring’s rich burgundy-red stone, continues through the beautiful burgundy-colored wedding florals, and finally reaches its culmination on the flower-adorned wedding cake. The elegant furniture and the playful patterns on the dress and frock coat could have come straight out of the Romantic era and, in this setting, become unrivaled eye-catchers.
