The future is probably life's greatest mystery. No one knows what it has in store for us. At the end of the 19th century, no one would have imagined that in the 2020s we would be reading this text on a screen that connects us to the entire world, while at the same time celebrating boho-style weddings.
This unconventional styled shoot offers a glimpse into a possible future scenario—a time when people value their connection to nature, and when minimalism and extravagance coexist in harmony. The world seems permeated by contrasts that are reflected both in the wedding’s design and in the bride and groom’s outfits.
While the groom opts for deep black in both his simple outfit and his makeup and walks barefoot into marriage, the bride wears an elegant light-colored dress that complements her white face paint and gray-white hair. Her ring, set with a large black onyx, symbolizes the bond between the two.
Even the furniture, the table settings, the bridal bouquet arranged in the shape of a fan, and the handwritten invitations and wedding vows reflect this contrast between black and white, between joyful love and tender melancholy.
This couple, too, doesn't know what the future holds. For them, too, it is an unknown mystery—but one that they will explore, discover, and experience together.
