We have since grown to become the wedding fair with the most dates in Austria. In 2026, we won silver at the Austrian Event Award, the most prestigious award in the event industry.

Our unique, high-quality, and eco-friendly wedding guide has been a success since 2018 and will reach its 10th edition in 2027. It reaches approximately 8,000 couples across Austria each year—including through free, direct distribution at our own wedding fairs.
Get all the infoEvery year, we host a large, nonprofit networking event for the wedding industry, to which our clients are exclusively invited. In November 2026, 350 service providers will gather in Maria Alm for a joint season-closing retreat, where they will stay for up to 3 nights.

Request Ads InformationIn 2016, we—Michelle & Nicolas Kreil—met at a wedding, where I was working as a stationery designer and he was a wedding DJ.
In 2017, we briefly tried our hand at wedding planning and then founded the “Ländle Wedding” platform for Vorarlberg.
In 2018, the first Luft & Liebe® Wedding Festival took place, and we published our first wedding books.
In 2019, we expanded throughout Austria as Austria Wedding. We got married that same year.
By 2022, our wedding festival had grown to become Austria’s largest trade show format, with 8 (now 15) events annually.
In 2023, we held our first major networking party for the wedding industry, which has since become an annual event.
In 2024, we launched the Swiss wedding platform josy.ch, which is marketed by a renowned Swiss agency.
In 2025, we took our first step toward expansion into Germany with bavariawedding.de and the first Luft & Liebe® events in Bavaria.
Wecurrently have 13 employees, 1,200 clients in Austria, and 250 clients in Bavaria. With 15 festival dates, the first wedding guidebook for Bavaria, and other exciting projects, we have big plans again this year!
We say “no” sometimes, too. Since we don’t offer free or DIY profiles online, we ensure high quality and keep the competition manageable. Luft & Liebe® also features strict curation—for both exhibitors and visitors.
We have clearly separated our expansion into Germany and Switzerland from austriawedding.at. While this means our online platform remains smaller, it also makes it all the more relevant: Our users are clearly interested in service providers from Austria.
