The architecture of the former swimming facility, built in the 1960s, embodies nearly every aspect of classical modernism and the Bauhaus movement—from the 300^m² open space to the exposed concrete walls and frosted glass bricks, right down to the massive glass facade that offers unobstructed views of the lake and the surrounding mountains.

Since this room, furnished with Chesterfield sofas, is already dedicated to art, art also found its way into the wedding design. This is already evident in the wedding stationery, whose most striking feature is the beautiful calligraphy. However, the art of beautiful handwriting serves more than just aesthetic purposes. Together with the presented menu, it already hints at another artistic aspect of this wedding concept: ikebana.

The Japanese art of flower arranging illustrates what legendary designer Dieter Rams meant by the phrase “less, but better.” With relatively few floral decorations, a beautiful table setting for the wedding dinner is conjured up here.

This attention to detail is also reflected in the bride and groom’s look. The bride wears her hair down with a center part. Her wedding dress also echoes this symmetry. The two-piece gown, featuring two different tops, reveals a sophisticated neckline in the back that not only showcases the bride’s back but also reveals a handwritten message that accompanies her throughout the day. Once accessories like the cigar or the black sunglasses are added, the couple’s photos could easily grace the cover of Vogue.
