When life gives you lemons, slice them up and toss them into your gin and tonic. When it gives you oranges, turn them into a glamorous wedding. This wedding inspiration, titled “Citrus Wedding,” shows you how. Dried orange slices set the warm color palette that runs through the elegant wedding design—from the stationery to the floral arrangements.
The eye-catching short wedding dress with puffed sleeves in a retro-chic style, the perfectly styled waves, the dramatic makeup, and the bride’s radiant white smile create a glamorous look reminiscent of Hollywood’s golden age. To complement the look, the bridesmaids wear color-coordinated blazer dresses, and the groom swaps his classic black suit and tie for a relaxed, casual beige outfit.
As befits Classic Hollywood, a certain touch of coolness is a must. This is celebrated above all in the couple’s photo shoot in the elevator and emphasized by wearing sunglasses indoors. Even the drinks and food emphasize style. The gin and tonic with pink grapefruit becomes a colorful highlight, and the extraordinary wedding cake practically showcases a bouquet of flowers.
Love doesn't have to follow rigid patterns. When you celebrate your love, do it in a way that lets both of you be yourselves. If that means your wedding feels like you're Hollywood stars in the 1950s, then there's only one question: Why not?
