Boho Wedding at the "Love Castle" in Haggenberg

The boho style is becoming increasingly popular for weddings. It’s no wonder—after all, it combines glamour with down-to-earth charm. Boho celebrations are elegant yet natural. Themes such as a zest for life, freedom, and passion find their place alongside love itself.

Hardly any other venue brings all these qualities together as harmoniously as the Schloss Haggenberg in the northern Waldviertel region. Wedding planner Sabrina Feichtinger and her team recognized this as well, creating a boho wedding inspiration within these historic walls that exudes plenty of personality and individuality.  

The castle has stood in Fallbach, Lower Austria, for over 800 years. During that time, it has gone by many names, including “Liebesschloss” (Castle of Love). Yet it is not the name that makes it an ideal wedding venue, but rather the traces of the centuries themselves.

The lush, overgrown facade anchors the wedding design, which combines wood, stone, and living nature. This concept extends from the barefoot wedding ceremony in the overgrown garden to the open-air wedding reception and the decorations. Inside, the magnificent ceiling frescoes look down on you, as if they’d been waiting just for this moment. Outside, a tree holds up the elegant chandelier above the banquet table, while numerous candles and string lights create a warm, inviting, and romantic atmosphere.

Every room in the Castle of Love bears witness to its past and will now serve as the starting point for your future together.
