When you think of a dream vacation on the Croatian coast, words like sun, sea, luxury, and relaxation quickly come to mind. More and more often, couples want to bring that vacation vibe and sense of lightheartedness to their own wedding. This micro-destination wedding inspiration shows you how!
Exuberant, relaxed, yet very elegant—that’s the vibe of this destination wedding far from home. The photo shoot takes place in and around the grounds of a stunning luxury villa in Istria, Croatia. This offers plenty of creative freedom for the photographer: a terrace with an infinity pool and a view of the Adriatic Sea, a vast garden, a modern living area, and four bedrooms provide the backdrop for this elegant wedding inspiration.
The concept of a micro wedding is intimate by nature—but that doesn’t mean the wedding design has to be simple. The details of this wedding exude refined luxury: the bride’s hair accessory, studded with Swarovski crystals; the handmade chocolates given as favors; gold cutlery; and champagne—all of which reflect a well-thought-out and extremely stylish wedding design. This clearly includes the wedding stationery as well: The handmade paper with torn edges and delicate typography in gold and black looks both elegant and cool.
The bride shines in two different looks: first in a delicate off-the-shoulder wedding dress with a long veil, and later in a flowing, long white gown with a sexy leg slit and an alluring neckline. To complement this fashionable elegance, the groom wears a classic black tuxedo with a cummerbund.
Since the backdrop—with the sea and lush greenery—already offers its own color palette, the photography team opts for clean, white chic as a contrast for the wedding cake, wedding candle, stationery, and floral arrangements. In the table decorations, golden accents and imposing chandeliers further enhance the sophistication of this wedding concept. But the white roses clearly play the leading role in the wedding design—they mark the path to the ceremony and to the grand finale: the exuberant champagne tower!
