Rustic Meets Modern – A Wedding That Blends Tradition and Trends

What at first sounds like two stark contrasts comes together here to form a beautiful, unique whole. Elements of a traditional, rustic wedding in folk costume blend with those of a modern, casual wedding celebration to create a special wedding design that perfectly embodies the theme “Rustic meets modern.”

This is already evident in the choice of wedding venue: Nestled among green meadows, trees, and rolling hills, the Vedahof looks as if it were built specifically for this photo shoot. The abundance of wood, the rustic details, and the elegant interiors make it the perfect fit for this wedding concept.

The couple will exchange vows in the estate’s own Prema Church. This eclectic chapel is also known as the “Chapel of the Five World Religions.” Each stained-glass window symbolizes a world religion and represents openness and acceptance toward our diverse world.

The floral arrangements are just as colorful: Even the wedding arch features a mix of dried and fresh flowers, reflecting the duality of the wedding concept. The colors harmonize with the gold accents that run throughout the shoot, serving as a bridge between the rustic and modern aspects of the wedding design.

The furnishings, featuring old wooden chairs, also highlight the rustic charm. The hand-crafted pottery blends perfectly into the overall design with its color-coordinated floral print. Guests’ seating arrangements are indicated by golden double picture frames: on one side, a small bouquet of dried flowers marks the table; on the other, guests will find their names.

The Sweet & Sour Table is set up on an old tractor, where sweet and savory snacks—as well as the wedding cake decorated with flowers—are beautifully displayed. The curtain of flowers in the chill-out zone by the pond makes the perfect photo backdrop and, together with the many candles, creates a romantic atmosphere. Here, the couple can retreat and enjoy each other’s company in a wonderful setting.
