Festival Wedding Inspired by Burning Man

For many years now, we’ve been advising couples like you to get married exactly the way you want to. Larry Harvey already had this mindset back in 1948, and to put it into practice, he organized a festival in the Nevada desert with 20 people—the first Burning Man. This small event has not only become the most famous, spectacular, and craziest festival in the world, but also the inspiration for this wedding theme.

Freedom, colorfulness, rebellion, being different—that’s what Burning Man stands for, and that’s what this wedding stands for, too. Art, utopia, and boundless freedom are already evident in the outfits: The bride wears white country-style boots, a sleeveless dress that perfectly showcases her arms, and a pearl-adorned headpiece reminiscent of stylish Art Deco elements. The groom considers clothing—aside from stylish hats—to be overrated and skips the shirt entirely.

The table decorations and floral arrangements add a splash of color. The bold shades of orange and red provide a striking contrast to the desert-like setting and the mostly solid-colored outfits of the bride and groom and their wedding party.

The stationery and pastries have a truly elegant look. Golden accents stand out against the black surface of the wedding cake and the stylish wax seals on the wedding invitations. The same black can also be seen in the wedding guests’ outfits. Everything is here: quirkiness, patent leather, leather, faux fur, bling, blue hair, orange hair, high heels, flats, and bare feet. Diversity and individuality define the scene. It’s about being different, going against the grain, and yet still being able to agree on one thing: love.
