If you, as the bride and groom, are among the privileged group of forest owners, you can, of course, hold a non-religious wedding ceremony in your own forest. No matter how or where you want to celebrate your wedding in the woods, be sure to consider not only people but also animals and the environment—because even though an outdoor wedding ceremony in the woods might not last very long, it’s still a temporary disruption to the natural ecosystem.
