Nestled in the magnificent mountain landscape of the Bregenzerwald, the Jagdschlössle Villa Maund is surrounded by unspoiled nature. It was built in 1890 as a hunting villa by the English banker and mountaineer Sir John Oakley Maund. Even back then, many hunting parties used the villa for celebrations and hunting, including the German Crown Prince Wilhelm von Hohenzollern. Even today, the Jagdschloss remains one of Vorarlberg’s most significant historical monuments and captivates its visitors with its extraordinary architecture and unique history.
Then as now, guests appreciate the festive atmosphere of this wedding venue, with its elegant rooms and expansive garden. The villa offers ample space in its three English salons for an unforgettable experience. From early May through late October, Sandra Muxel’s team plans and organizes your big day at this extraordinary wedding venue.

Weare a small core team of five service staff and three kitchen staff. Of course, there are many more helping hands behind the scenes, since the Hotel Gasthof Adler also provides catering services and helps organize all events.
Wedding ceremoniesare usually held in our garden, which is situated in the middle of an idyllic forest clearing. Dinner is served in the elegant English salons. In addition, an experienced team is on hand to assist every couple throughout the entire planning process, offering creative support.
Everycouple and every wedding is completely unique. We take immense joy in accompanying couples from the very beginning all the way to their big day, and it’s so wonderful for us to see a celebration finally come to life after all that planning. It never ceases to amaze us how every couple manages to infuse their unique personalities into even the smallest details.
These days, weddings are becoming more personalized and diverse. What’s more, couples of all backgrounds and sexual orientations are finally able to get married or choose a ceremony to celebrate their special day. This is one of the greatest joys I’ve had the privilege of experiencing in recent years!
