Here you can experience your one-of-a-kind bridal moment in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Katrin places great importance on providing a truly personalized consultation. You can enjoy your fitting appointment in complete privacy, as you’ll have the store all to yourselves and your companions.
The wedding dresses, selected with great care, come in a wide variety of styles and sizes, ensuring there’s something perfect for every bride. In addition, the Glückskleid also offers bridal shoes and a small, exquisite selection of jewelry and accessories. The dresses range from very simple to vintage and boho to princess-style, and many are available up to size 52, with some even going up to size 60/62. This way, every bride—whether tall, short, plus-size, or petite—can find a dress here that makes her feel absolutely beautiful. Only then is a wedding dress truly a Glückskleid!

Through my own search for a wedding dress. There’s no such thing as the “wrong body”—only the wrong dress! Unfortunately, I’ve learned the hard way that people are often led to believe the opposite. With the help of a wonderful consultant, I realized that there’s one dress for every bride that makes her feel more beautiful than ever before. That’s what motivated me to open my own bridal shop.
What makes the " Glückskleid " so special?
Patience and empathy are essential during a bridal consultation. A bride must choose her wedding dress with her heart, and we’re here to guide her along the way. Helping a bride see the beauty in herself is what we strive to achieve.
What do you love about the wedding industry?
It's just wonderful when a bride beams as she looks in the mirror and can't stop smiling. We get to experience so many positive emotions and loving moments, and we get to share in the excitement and shed a few tears together …
What trends are currently emerging?
Comfort is very important, because a dress shouldn’t just look great—it should feel great, too. Light, flowing, romantic dresses with lots of lace and special details—perfect for both a casual garden party and a church wedding—are still going strong. Sustainability is also slowly making its way into bridal fashion.
How did you get married?
It was a simple, civil wedding ceremony. Afterward, we hosted a wonderfully relaxed garden party with delicious food, great music, and a boisterous crowd of kids running around on the lawn. My husband was wearing jeans and a T-shirt, and I was in my white dream dress :-)
