The Ursprungalm, located at 1,600 meters above sea level, offers a breathtaking setting for a wedding with natural charm. Surrounded by blooming alpine meadows, the gentle murmur of a mountain stream, and the impressive mountain backdrop of the Dachstein and the Steirische Kalkspitze, an atmosphere of tranquility and unspoiled beauty unfolds.
The ceremony takes place in a very special location: by a crystal-clear mountain lake, whose surface reflects the surrounding peaks, the bride and groom exchange vows. Gentle rays of sunlight bathe the surroundings in warm light, while a light breeze sweeps across the alpine meadows. The surrounding mountains rise majestically into the sky, lending the moment an impressive sense of grandeur. The lapping of the water and the chirping of birds accompany the ceremony, creating a natural, almost magical atmosphere.
For the couple’s photo shoot, we drove up in a pickup truck to Lake Giglach—one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the region. The clear water, rugged cliffs, and rolling meadows provided a unique backdrop for unforgettable photos. The bride and groom blend harmoniously into the alpine backdrop. The bride wears a flowing dress with delicate lace details; her hair falls in soft waves—perfectly matching the natural style of the wedding. A real eye-catcher is the unique bridal bouquet, featuring a very special round shape and a cascading design. The groom adds modern accents with a dark suit and a refined wooden accessory, complementing the look with stylish casualness.
The decor embraces the alpine theme and adds stylish accents with elements made of wood, natural materials, and plants such as edelweiss and pine branches. The stationery, wedding candle, and guest favors are also designed in an Alpine style and feature delicate mountain motifs.
The sustainable focus is reflected in many details: wooden jewelry in the form of handmade wedding rings and earrings, natural materials, and a lovingly designed dessert table featuring regional specialties. The colors green, white, and brown—which evoke nature and the mountains—recur throughout various elements, such as the ring pillow, tablecloths, and floral arrangements.
This wedding combines a love of nature, elegance, and sustainability, and possesses a very special Alpine charm. “Almliebe” demonstrates that tradition and modernity can blend harmoniously, and that the breathtaking backdrop of the mountains creates an unforgettable atmosphere.
