Bridal Lingerie: The Perfect Underwear for the Wedding
On days when we women feel truly comfortable, we usually wear clothes that suit us. Nothing pinches, and we feel sexy and confident. That’s exactly how wedding lingerie should feel, too!
This article covers the following topics:

Comfortable Underwear for Your Wedding
When it comes to wedding dresses, everyone agrees: It has to suit the bride and can be sexy, elegant, and fashionable all at once. But what about underwear? Lingerie is primarily seen as a sexy highlight for the wedding night. Of course, it is! But more than that, it’s an important part of the bride’s overall sense of well-being. That’s why we give lingerie the attention it deserves—even before the wedding night:
- The bra: Balconette , push-up, or halter—the bra should discreetly disappear under your wedding dress, provide good support, and create an irresistible décolletage. Of course, choosing a bra always depends on the style of your wedding dress: Is it backless? Does it have long or short sleeves? Tip: Choose a good bra early on and bring it with you to every wedding dress fitting. Take photos from multiple angles. If anything shows through, you’ll spot it right away.
- The panties: When it comes to the bottom half of your lingerie set, you can choose between thongs, briefs, or high-waisted hipsters. Just like with the bra, the fabric is a key factor here: Seamless microfiber, for example, won’t show through your wedding dress at all. Silk and lace? Super sexy! Bodysuits can also be really exciting and comfortable at the same time. But be careful: The bodysuit should open at the bottom; otherwise, every trip to the restroom will be a hassle.
- Accessories: Stockings, garters, or a garter belt? None of these are required—but you can wear any or all of them! Quality, however, is a must: After all, if your stockings slip or pinch, you won’t be able to fully focus on your wedding guests and your husband.
Whether you wear shapewear, use handy fashion tape, or simply make sure nothing pinches and your lingerie doesn’t show through your dress—on your wedding day, your comfort should be your top priority! And on your wedding night…
