Your love is completely unique—and that’s exactly how your wedding ceremony should be. With Kathi, an experienced and certified independent wedding officiant, you’ll have someone by your side who will tailor your ceremony to suit you perfectly: personal, emotional, confident, and filled with love.
An independent wedding ceremony gives you the opportunity to design your ceremony exactly as you envision it. Kathi places special emphasis on putting your story and your love at the center of the ceremony. She says: “Every wedding celebration bears the couple’s personal touch—and the ceremony can be just as unique.” She warmly welcomes all couples in love who want to celebrate their shared love—regardless of your background, religion, skin color, or gender.
As an experienced officiant, Kathi gives you plenty of flexibility for your wedding ceremony, such as when it comes to personal vows: “It’s your wedding—if you’d like, you can recite your vows yourselves, but it’s never a requirement. I can also help you with them or recite them for you,” explains Kathi. Whether you ultimately recite the vows yourselves, let her do it, or choose to skip them altogether—Kathi is there to offer advice and support so that you feel comfortable.
As a wedding officiant, Kathi accompanies you not only in Vienna but throughout Austria—and she’s also happy to travel with you abroad to hold your ceremony at the location of your choice.
We’ll meet for a no-obligation initial consultation to see if we’re a good fit. If you decide to work with me, I’ll send you a contract for you to sign. You’ll then pay the deposit—and that secures your date in my calendar. Two to four weeks before your wedding, we’ll meet again, and you’ll tell me all the wonderful things that define you and your love. I’ll use that to craft my personal speech for you and your wedding ceremony. Sometimes we’ll have a third meeting, where we’ll go over the schedule of your wedding in detail and discuss every last detail. On your big day, I’ll arrive an hour early to do a sound check with my equipment, among other things. Then comes your special ceremony, filled with festivity, lightheartedness, and emotion. After the wedding, you’ll receive the invoice, and you’re welcome to sign my guestbook.
It’s your wedding ceremony—if that’s what you want, then yes! I’d be happy to. But it’s not required. You can write your own vows and recite them yourselves. Either with a microphone so everyone can hear, or without one, in which case it’s more for yourselves. If you start to have doubts on the day itself about whether you can do it, I’ll gladly take over, or we can just skip it altogether. We’ll get through this together, and I’ll be by your side every step of the way.
Mainly in Vienna, of course, but I’ll come to any state and will even follow you abroad.
