If your gut feeling says “Yes!”, I’d love to hear from you. Send me an email or give me a call, and we’ll set up a no-obligation introductory meeting. We’ll get to know each other in a relaxed setting and see if we click. You’ll tell me about yourselves, your ideas, and your vision for your non-religious wedding ceremony. If you decide to work with me afterward, we’ll usually meet two more times, either in person or online. At our first meeting, we’ll dive into your love story together. I’ll listen, ask questions, and let you share what makes you special as a couple. Afterward, I’ll send you a lovingly crafted questionnaire for you to fill out separately—to gain even deeper insights into your perspectives and heartfelt moments. During the second meeting, we’ll focus on the fine-tuning: the schedule, rituals, music requests, and everything else that’s important to you. After that, I’ll begin writing your speech—until your words and mine come together to form your very own personal ceremony.
How do you coordinate a non-religious wedding ceremony—both in the lead-up and on the day of the event?
Well in advance, I’ll get in touch with the venue, the photographer, and the DJ or musician to go over all the technical details, such as sound, microphones, and the music schedule. This way, I ensure that everything runs smoothly on the day of the wedding and that you don’t have to worry about a thing. On the day itself, I’ll be on site at least one hour before the ceremony begins. I’ll check the equipment, go over the details one more time with all the service providers involved, and make sure everything is ready so we can start right on time. Then, with calm and poise, I’ll guide you through your ceremony. That way, you can focus entirely on your love and simply enjoy the moment.
What ideas do you have for making the wedding ceremony more lively?
A non-religious wedding ceremony thrives on being shaped to reflect who you are in real life. There are many ways to make the ceremony even more dynamic and varied—everything is possible, nothing is required. If you’d like, your guests can become part of the ceremony: through personal contributions, short speeches, poems, or self-written passages that are read aloud. This creates especially memorable moments! Another beautiful way to add a bit more depth to the wedding ceremony is through personal rituals. During the planning process, I’ll introduce you to a whole catalog of modern, classic, and even unusual rituals. Together—if you’d like—we’ll choose the ritual that best suits you and symbolizes your special connection in a unique way. The result is a ceremony that not only touches the heart but also surprises you time and again!
