Every ceremony is unique—just like the people celebrating it. That’s why, at Herzwerk, every speech begins with a special conversation: an exchange that creates space for closeness and trust. In a relaxed atmosphere, you’ll talk with wedding officiant Jana Egger about your wishes, ideas, and all the little things that make your independent wedding ceremony or baby-welcoming celebration personal. Jana listens to you with an open heart and genuine interest. She wants to get to know your story: the moments that connect you, the memories that bring a smile to your faces, and the feelings that make your wedding day special.
It’s important to the wedding officiant that your day is carefree—without pressure or expectations. With her, a space is created where you can simply be yourselves. Together with Jana, you’ll design your ceremony, discuss rituals, and define what feels right for you. Jana will also accompany you to wherever your heart leads you. She lives in St. Veit an der Glan in Carinthia, but she’s happy to follow you to any place that holds meaning for you—whether on a mountaintop, by a lake, barefoot on the beach, or in the garden of your home.
Herzwerk was born out of a desire to create moments that bring people together and linger in their memories. The name stands for speeches that feel lighthearted yet carry depth. Every ceremony is a labor of love: individually crafted and carried by a genuine presence. The speaker loves the color pink and everything that sparkles. Her heart beats for her horse, her dog, hiking, and wonderful days on the slopes. Jana loves anything that brings people together and puts a smile on their faces—like pop music or a slice of chocolate cake. At her ceremonies, she creates an atmosphere where people can relax and feel connected. Instead of a staged performance, you can expect genuine warmth, closeness, and humor.
What's it like to have a wedding ceremony with you?
Non-religious wedding ceremonies with me are, above all, one thing: authentic. They don’t follow a rigid script but are shaped by your story, your feelings, and what makes you unique as a couple. It’s not about perfection, but about creating a space where you can let your guard down. Lightheartedness and depth can coexist, just as laughter, emotion, and quiet, intimate moments can. With sensitivity, warmth, and presence, I hold the space for you and your loved ones, fostering a natural, warm atmosphere where you can focus entirely on each other. A wedding ceremony that doesn’t feel staged—it just feels right.
What kind of ceremony would you like for us as the bride and groom?
I’d like a ceremony that feels lighthearted yet deeply moving. A moment when you’re completely present with yourselves and don’t have to prove anything. A moment when you can laugh, be moved, and simply look at each other with the feeling: “This is exactly who we are.” I’d like a ceremony that reflects who you are. Mit Worten —one that comes from the heart, with small gestures that hold meaning, and with rituals that feel right to you. Without rigid rules, without external expectations. Just you, your love, and a space where everything is welcome. A non-religious wedding ceremony can be lively, warm, and honest. It can move you, bring you together, and stay with you for a lifetime.
