I've been working as a photographer for 18 years. Before I discovered my passion for wedding photography, I photographed models at a modeling agency.
What do you love about wedding photography?
The emotions. Before, I always photographed portraits and advertising—with staged poses and models. Weddings are completely different. I fell in love with it right away at the very first wedding I was allowed to photograph. It took place at Mirabell Palace, and the groom cried when he saw his bride. It was incredibly emotional, and I had tears in my eyes, too. It was beautiful. That’s when I discovered my passion.
What photography trend do you see right now?
Authentic and modern styles, sometimes mixed together. It's especially important to me to stay authentic so I can capture the emotions.
How did you get married?
Milan (our team’s head of film) and I got married in 2016 in an intimate ceremony—with 35 guests at a small hotel in Hungary. There was a beautiful view, lots of string lights, our favorite music, a Marlenka cake, cocktails, and everything was decorated in white. I wore a dress with lace and tulle, and Milan wore a gray suit. We surprised our guests with a fun dance routine and a dance competition, followed by a big party with karaoke that lasted until 4 a.m. It still warms my heart when I think back on it! :)
