How did you get into filming weddings, and what makes it special for you? 

It all started when I, as a guest, discovered the beauty and uniqueness of weddings. I had already gained some initial experience in film production during my studies when a friend of my sister’s asked me to help him film a wedding. Of course, I agreed right away—I could gain hands-on experience and attend a wedding at the same time. The opportunity to capture the love and unique joy of a bride and groom on film was something very special to me. So it didn’t stop at just one wedding. Right after I graduated, I took the plunge into self-employment as a videographer. It quickly became clear that I couldn’t do everything on my own, so I brought my friend Peter on board. Peter has always been fascinated by moving images, has a lot of expertise in video, and loves weddings. Last year, we asked Anja if she’d like to join us. With her passion for photography and videography, she was immediately captivated by the idea of capturing the emotions and stories of a bride and groom. Together, we share a passion for weddings, and our individual skills and experiences make us a strong team. Every wedding is unique and has its own story, which we can preserve for eternity through our films. 

How many people do you have with you at a wedding, and do the bride and groom know who will be there on their wedding day? 

In most cases, we come as a team of two from Filmfreude . Only for the smaller wedding video packages is one videographer sufficient. Of course, we’ll let you know in advance which videographer will be there on your wedding day. A major advantage of our team is that the three of us can work together in all kinds of combinations. This means we always have a backup videographer who can step in if needed. This is especially important to us so that we can ensure every important moment of the wedding is captured. 

So you offer wedding video packages. What do they include, and can they be customized? 

Yes! At Filmfreude , we offer a variety of wedding video packages that provide a great overview of what we have to offer. In addition, we place a high value on personalization. We understand that every couple has their own wishes and ideas. That’s why our packages can be customized to suit your needs. 

How do the bride and groom receive the finished wedding video? 

We offer a variety of options. We provide shorter videos via a password-protected online link, which you’re welcome to share with family, friends, and coworkers. Of course, it’s also possible to upload the video to Instagram or Facebook. In addition, we offer the videos on USB drives in special packaging. This is a lovely and personal way to preserve your wedding video as a keepsake. We also offer longer videos on Blu-ray with a custom-designed cover. This is a classic way to enjoy your wedding video in the highest quality.
