The most beautiful day of your life calls for a place where everything just comes together. A place like the Schloss Vasoldsberg. Built in the 13th century, the castle was renovated and expanded in 2018 and has served as a unique wedding venue since 2020.
The beautiful Schloss Vasoldsberg near Graz warmly welcomes you as a future wedding couple. On your big day, the castle is exclusively yours. In a historic setting, you can prepare for the most beautiful moment of your life in complete peace—the spacious dressing room offers plenty of room for your arrival. The reception for your guests begins with a glass of fine wine on the romantic castle square before you cross the bridge to the idyllic forest pavilion. There, surrounded by nature, you can say “I do” to your loved one. Whether it’s a church ceremony, a civil ceremony, or a non-denominational ceremony—anything is possible and will be arranged exactly as you wish.
After the ceremony, you’ll enjoy your first congratulations during a reception in the atmospheric castle courtyard, while a vintage ice cream truck treats guests of all ages. The grounds offer numerous backdrops for unforgettable wedding photos: beneath the canopy of old trees, on the wedding swing, by the idyllic pond, or on the grand staircase surrounded by colorful flowers. Your wedding photographer will love the atmosphere just as much as you and your guests do!
While you’re having your photos taken, the little guests can let off steam in the children’s playroom. Afterward, you’ll enjoy a festive dinner in the modern ballroom, prepared by the experienced FEST/ESSEN catering team. Then the party really gets going—inside the castle or, if the weather is warm, under the open starry sky. Celebrate and dance late into the night or even into the early morning. After your dream wedding, you can spend your wedding night right in the castle. Depending on the date, the romantic wedding suite with a luxurious bathroom is available to you. Some of your guests can also stay in the lovingly designed rooms. The next morning, you’ll start your life together in a relaxed way—with Italian coffee and a delicious breakfast. If you’d like to extend the celebration a bit longer, you can do so (depending on the date) with a leisurely brunch or barbecue.
To ensure that your arrival and departure go smoothly, there’s ample parking around the estate. The dedicated team at Schloss Vasoldsberg will also be happy to organize a shuttle service for your wedding guests.

Although Paris is considered the “City of Love,” the world’s most famous love story actually took place in Verona. It’s a coincidence that the bride in this styled shoot—like the protagonist of that story—is also named Juliet. But the fact that Italy served as the inspiration for the wedding design is no coincidence. Admittedly, the “ Schloss Vasoldsberg ” is a bit farther from the sea than the land of la Dolce Vita. But instead of salty waves, a heavenly-scented sea of flowers awaits the bride and groom here.

In the idyllic forest pavilion, you can exchange vows in a church ceremony and/or a civil ceremony. Independent wedding ceremonies are, of course, also possible. There are no additional costs for using the pavilion.
Yes, you can party outdoors until the early hours of the morning. Our castle courtyard offers a beautiful setting that you’re welcome to enjoy all night long. The DJ is also welcome to play outdoors.
Yes, we can accommodate up to 34 people (and would be happy to recommend additional lodging options in the immediate area). Depending on the date, the bride and groom can stay in the romantic wedding suite or in one of the other lovingly decorated rooms in the castle. There are also rooms in the little cottage next door where your guests are sure to feel right at home.
If it rains, the wedding ceremony and the entire wedding reception can take place at the castle. In addition to the large ballroom, there is a salon, a lounge, a bar, and a children’s playroom. There is also a wine cellar with a tasting room.
