WolkenGold has been around since 2017—the name was coined by founder Conny’s son, who was 4 years old at the time. Her motivation is to find the right design for every couple—one that reflects both of their personalities, delights their guests, and helps make the wedding a successful and relaxed celebration. Her passion for creativity runs like a common thread through her wedding stationery—whether it’s designing, writing copy, or developing custom solutions for more complex stationery needs (e.g., multilingual events, diverse guest groups, or celebrations spanning several days). Conny loves bringing new trends to the region, working with materials such as acrylic glass and fabrics, and finds fresh inspiration in paper, colors, typefaces, and beautiful texts with every couple.

How did you get into this profession?
I designed a page in a wedding book for a friend, and a wedding planner approached me, saying my style was exactly what couples were looking for right now. So I started designing—and I haven’t stopped since.
What makes your work so special?
I want to create the perfect stationery for each of my couples in terms of style, form, and function. To do this, I’m constantly coming up with new designs and on the lookout for the latest trends and materials.
What do you like about the wedding industry?
Weddingsoffer the full spectrum—from minimalist to opulent, there’s something for everyone. I get to be a small part of that and help make sure it truly is the most beautiful day for the bride and groom.
What trends are you noticing right now?
There are more smaller weddings with intimate guest lists and lovingly chosen details. Traditional stationery is being combined with digital elements and websites.
How would you get married yourself?
Elopewithfamily and my closest friends, celebrate at a special location, and then stay there right away for the honeymoon.
