Kathrin Bernold—also known under the label “zweizeichen”—offers a wide range of services for your wedding stationery. Take advantage of the full-service option, which covers everything from creative brainstorming to production, or submit your own finished designs for printing.
The collaboration begins with a personal consultation to fully understand your wishes. Next, a cohesive set is created that’s perfectly tailored to your style. This service includes the design of custom illustrations and copywriting, as well as the selection of the ideal paper type and printing technique.
Production is carried out with meticulous craftsmanship using the highest-quality materials, such as handmade paper and eco-friendly seed paper. Sturdy printing presses are used to create embossed finishes that are visually and tactilely striking. Special finishes with spot colors and hot foil stamping featuring metallic or holographic effects make your stationery shine in unique colors. Extras such as transparent seals and personalized seal stamps are also available.
If you already have a finished design, Kathrin also offers a printing-only service. The stationery expert will be happy to advise you on the technical details and ensure that your designs are optimally prepared for professional printing.

Yes, we’d be happy to produce your stationery designs using embossing or hot foil stamping. The files must be submitted as vector graphics in 100% black in the desired final format as a PDF or EPS file. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.
How do I know which paper or cardstock is best suited?
The color of the paper and the ink should complement each other. Equally important is the choice of paper weight (thickness). Thick cardstock, for example, has the advantage of being printable or embossed on both sides. Soft natural-fiber papers, such as handmade paper, are also excellent for impressive embossing, but are only suitable for single-sided printing. Depending on your design preferences, I’d be happy to advise you on choosing the right paper.
Can paper napkins be personalized with printing?
Custom-printed paper napkins in top-quality restaurant grade are a real highlight at your big celebration. Cocktail napkins or table napkins featuring your favorite quote, wedding logo, or your names—your guests will be impressed!
How much lead time should I allow for planning and producing my wedding stationery?
The sooner, the better, of course. If you’d like a custom illustration and design for your wedding stationery, I recommend submitting your request at least three months before the desired mailing date for your “Save the Date” card or invitation. Together, we’ll create a timeline that includes rounds of revisions and a production plan. If you already have a print-ready graphic and choose a paper we have in stock, the production time is between 10 and 15 business days.
