Are you looking for a wedding DJ but would also like to enjoy live music? Then these two musicians are the perfect choice for you! Robin Kapfer and Simon Mattern offer a complete package that includes soulful live music as well as lively evening entertainment.
Wondering what their “Whole Day Package” looks like? Robin and Simon will first provide the musical backdrop for your reception and/or civil ceremony with touching live music. For this, they’ll play the violin and piano—a combination that harmonizes beautifully and is sure to give you goosebumps. During the reception, the musicians’ song selection is both varied and stylish: they’ll perform ballads, upbeat pop songs, and current wedding classics.
Roob & Simon are happy to accommodate your song requests to ensure your day is unforgettable—musically speaking. Then, during the dinner that follows, the musicians provide fitting background music and seamlessly transition from their instruments to the DJ booth. Now it’s time for the perfect dance music, complete with subtle hosting. Depending on the situation, the duo also accompanies special moments such as the first dance or the cutting of the cake. Later in the evening, the two really get the guests moving on the dance floor with chart-toppers and timeless classics—right into the early hours of the morning!
However, if you’d prefer to book just the “Agape Package” or the “DJ Package” separately, that’s no problem at all for these fun-loving and easygoing musicians. If needed, they can even be hired exclusively as sound technicians. These experienced entertainers and musicians know exactly what matters at a wedding when it comes to sound, music, and atmosphere, as the duo has already performed at numerous weddings. Yes, we try to fulfill all song requests, both live and behind the DJ booth.
“Until the wee hours of the morning”—how long is that for you?
Generally until 2:00 a.m.
Do you play your instruments everywhere and at any time?
Unfortunately not, we don’t play at religious weddings, duringthe “bride-stealing” tradition, or late at night, since setting up for those occasions would take too much time.
Why Roob & Simon?
We’re authentic. From the first inquiry all the way through to the performance at the wedding, you’ll only be in direct contact with us personally. We’re not a DJ agency where a DJ represents us or where we’re quickly swapped out or replaced. In case of illness, we cover for each other (though that’s never happened yet). Plus, we’re probably from the same generation as you! Whether it’s the ’90s, the ’00s, the “golden age of EDM” (David Guetta, Avicii, …), or California punk rock (The Offspring, Green Day, …)—we grew up with it and can really relate to your song requests. Maybe we were even on the dance floor together a few years ago at the Remembar in Linz, the A1, or at Nova Rock. Who knows?
