How do you handle music requests?
During our personal preliminary meeting, we'll discuss in detail exactly what you'd like to hear and, most importantly, what your "no-gos" are. I'll, of course, accommodate music requests throughout the evening on a case-by-case basis, but I only accept them in person. So please, under no circumstances submit music request cards!
Is music really necessary during the day, too?
The background music for your wedding celebration doesn’t start with the evening party—it should begin during the champagne reception. You’re free to choose any style of music you like, but make sure it plays only softly in the background. The champagne reception is all about bringing everyone together, and the music should also be chosen carefully during dinner.
How's your lighting system coming along?
Lighting is often underestimated, but in my opinion, it’s almost as important as the music. The rule here is: the darker, the better for the party. I use my ambient lighting to create the perfect atmosphere; there’s absolutely no need for the venue to provide any lighting for the dance floor.
What do you think of a fog machine?
Using a smoke machine adds that extra special touch to your party. However, you’ll need to check with the venue beforehand to see if it’s allowed (keyword: smoke detectors!).
