Winery Wedding: A Wedding Among the Barrels

In Burgenland, culture and indulgence have always played a central role. These characteristics of the region are reflected in this wedding at the Scheiblhofer winery in Andau. For it embodies elegance, allure, and thoughtful indulgence—all attributes that can also be associated with the region’s exceptional fine wines.  

A gentle embrace, a graceful dance, and a tender, almost casual stroke of the hair during the wedding ceremony—it’s often the little moments that reveal a couple’s deep emotional bond. These moments are especially beautiful to witness when not only the couple but also the entire setting seems to be wonderfully in sync. And at this wedding, everything is just right: from the candles to the wedding arch to the beautifully arranged reception table, a color palette of natural tones was chosen, making the overall look of the wedding particularly harmonious. In keeping with this, the stationery features delicate, understated tones and soft colors. The high-quality handmade paper and the vintage, handwritten-style typography fit perfectly into the wedding’s serene overall concept. The floral arrangements are also understated in some places, yet always exquisitely crafted and elegant. One exception is the wedding table where the happy couple takes their seats: here, the couple is beautifully framed by a large bouquet on the table as well as an arched structure adorned with dried reeds.

Whether it’s the bouquet, the bridal arrangement, or the groom’s wedding suit—the natural tones of green, cream, and beige run throughout this harmonious wedding, making the bride shine all the more in her white lace dress. As the wedding officiant delivers her beautifully crafted words during the ceremony and as the couple dances together in front of the winery’s oak barrels, the wedding dress fits so perfectly that the bride’s grace radiates throughout the entire atmosphere and to all the guests.
