Rising above the hustle and bustle of everyday city life, in the heart of Innsbruck’s Arzl district, lies the spacious and light-filled Atelier BrautRaum. Here you won’t find off-the-rack wedding dresses, but rather one-of-a-kind, custom-made gowns.
In 2017, Judith fulfilled her dream by opening this master workshop. The studio has since grown to include three trained custom tailors, and the team looks forward every day to the opportunity to practice this beautiful craft.
This lovingly handcrafted collection of one-piece and two-piece gowns is inspired by strong women throughout history. It features a harmonious blend of on-trend colors, beautifully flowing regional fabrics, and a great deal of attention to detail. Whether you’re looking for understated elegance, traditional designs, or romantic, whimsical one-of-a-kind pieces for a truly grand entrance—at BrautRaum, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for if you’re searching for something special.
Here, great importance is placed on your individual style. From the custom-made pattern to the fabric selection and every single handcrafted button, your preferences are taken into account. Working closely with you, the young designers and seamstresses will find the pattern and materials that perfectly highlight your best features.

There are two types of wedding inspiration. One showcases beautiful, cohesive wedding concepts that couples can adopt relatively easily and integrate into their own wedding design—the boho wedding is arguably one of the classics in this category. This styled shoot belongs to the other type of wedding inspiration. It’s the kind that shows you just how unique a wedding design can be when professional vendors bring individual elements together with great sensitivity to create a harmonious whole.

View GalleryActually, I always wanted to be a florist. But since I couldn’t get an apprenticeship back then, I started an apprenticeship as a dressmaker as a “fallback plan.” I quickly realized that this was exactly my dream job. Right after successfully completing my apprenticeship, I found myself working at a wedding boutique in Salzburg, where I was able to make “dreams in white” come true for the first time. To further my education, I completed a master class in Vienna in 2013, specializing in “haute couture.” In 2017, I started my own business with my own studio, which—with Nicole and Miriam—has since grown to include three trained tailoresses specializing in bridal fashion.
In our spacious, light-filled studio in Innsbruck-Arzl, you won’t find off-the-rack wedding dresses—only one-of-a-kind, custom-made gowns designed in-house. Our handcrafted collection of one-piece and two-piece gowns is inspired by strong women throughout history. We place great emphasis on individuality. From the cut to the selection of regional fabrics to the very last stitch, we take our clients’ wishes into account. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable on your wedding day—not like you’re wearing a costume: That’s why our styles range from timeless “clean chic” to traditional designs to romantic “boho glam” for that truly grand entrance.
Combining our traditional tailoring craft with the ever-changing trends in bridal fashion, trying out new ideas and styles along the way, and finally seeing the beaming faces of brides in our wedding dresses. We’re truly living the dream here: every day, we get to work with the most beautiful fabrics, delicate lace, and gorgeous accessories, and let our creativity run wild. Because every bride and every wedding is unique—and so should the wedding dress be.
Your journey with us begins about six to nine months before your wedding, when you choose your wedding dress from our extensive collection here at the “ Atelier BrautRaum .” Four to six months before your big day, we’ll take your measurements and start working on the sewing machines. Two months before the wedding, you’ll come in for a fitting, and just one month later, you’ll be able to take your custom-made wedding dress home with you. Our custom-made two-piece and three-piece ensembles range in price from approximately 1,600 to 2,600 euros, while custom-made wedding dresses range from about 2,500 to 3,900 euros. Good to know: Additional costs, such as alteration fees for off-the-rack dresses, naturally do not apply here, since your dress is already custom-made by us specifically for you based on your measurements.
