In your custom-made wedding dress, you’re the only one getting married. That’s why the dresses at the “Zum blauen Einhorn” wedding dress workshop are as unique as the women who wear them. With exceptional craftsmanship, a lot of heart, and passion, master tailor Julia Lara König creates one-of-a-kind masterpieces here.
Every single dress is 100 percent handmade in Vienna as a one-of-a-kind piece. To ensure optimal comfort, we use easy-care, flowing fabrics and a lining made of natural fibers. Your outfit can also be versatile—whether it’s a dress, a two-piece set, a bodysuit, a detachable train, an interchangeable skirt, or separate sleeves.
The initial consultation—which includes a design and an initial cost estimate—is non-binding and free of charge. Julia Lara will be happy to use her extensive knowledge to advise you on styles, materials, and cuts.
After all, your dress will be designed exactly as you wish, and we'll choose the fabrics together. In a warm and relaxed atmosphere, your custom-made dream dress will take shape step by step—a dress in which you'll feel completely at ease.

On October 4, 2026, our 8th Luft & Liebe® Wedding Festival will take place in Vienna! The event will once again be held at METAStadt—arguably one of the coolest venues in the city.

But what if you’re really longing for that carefree summer vibe for your wedding? Then let this styled shoot inspire you. Here, you’ll see just how summery—and even tropical—a winter wedding in Austria can be.
