Custom-made wedding dresses are Maiken Domenica Kloser’s great passion. They are crafted entirely according to the bride’s wishes to best highlight her personality. From the initial no-obligation consultation through fabric selection to the final fitting, the bride is involved in every step of her dress’s creation. This is what makes every dress from Maiken K one-of-a-kind.
Comfort and quality are just as important as distinctive design, rich detail, and individuality. The dresses are all meticulously handcrafted from start to finish in the studio in Austria. Info & TicketsDesigning and making my own clothes has been my dream ever since I was a child. After completing several apprenticeships in custom tailoring, gaining extensive professional experience, and studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, I followed my dream and now create exclusive bridal and special-occasion gowns under my own label.
Currently, there is a noticeable trend back toward individuality and quality. Brides want a dress that is uniquely theirs—one that meets all their expectations and desires and showcases their personality and style in the best possible way. That is exactly the philosophy behind my label. I design a completely custom dress for each client, allowing me to take all of the bride’s wishes into account.
I got married in a large circus tent on a beautiful meadow in Vorarlberg. Of course, in keeping with the theme, the dress wasn’t white but came in various pastel shades—ranging from light blue to rose, ivory, and pink—and was ankle-length with 500 hand-embroidered flowers. It was truly a wonderful day. If I could, I’d love to get married all over again every year.
