The alpine hut is idyllically situated on the Mieming Sun Plateau and can accommodate up to 100 guests. The heated, wind- and weather-protected terrace, along with the cozy, warm, and rustic dining room, ensure that your wedding celebration will be simply magical, no matter the weather.
A special highlight of this uniquely natural wedding venue: Just below the “ Stöttlalm ” is a crystal-clear mountain lake complete with a wedding pier. At this special location, you have the option of holding your civil wedding ceremony or a non-religious ceremony with a wedding officiant. As the bride and groom, you can take your seats right on the beautifully decorated dock, surrounded by a stunning natural backdrop—a truly magical place to say “I do”!

The mountain wedding venue stands out for its versatility and flexibility—so it’s no surprise that there’s another option for a wedding reception not far from the alpine hut: the banquet hall in the Greenvieh chalet (on the second floor of the “ Greenvieh ” restaurant) offers the ideal setting for a celebration for sixty to 140 guests. Whether it’s a mountain wedding or a wedding in the elegant atmosphere of the golf park—both wedding venues on the Mieming Sun Plateau impress with their natural charm, flexibility, and wonderful mountain views!
Anniversary! On September 27, 2026, our wedding fair will be held for the 10th time at the Salzlager in Hall—a unique venue that our exhibitors will transform into a cool wedding paradise.

We’d be happy to meet with you on weekdays for a personal conversation at the Alpenresort Schwarz. A tour of the Stöttlalm is also possible by arrangement with our lodge manager.
