For over 1,200 years, hospitality and wine culture have been celebrated in the historic vaults of the St. Peter Stiftskulinarium—today, the Stiftskulinarium, located in the heart of Salzburg’s Old Town, is not only a curator of culinary treasures and unforgettable moments, but also one of the most extraordinary wedding venues in Salzburg.
But it’s not just the venue itself that’s incomparable—it’s also the hosts’ masterful event planning. They combine passion with efficiency, dreams with attention to detail, and events with perfection. The exquisite design of every wedding at the St. Peter Stiftskulinarium is as unique as the bride and groom and exclusively tailored to their wishes and needs. Depending on the size of the celebration, you can choose between grand ballrooms, elegant salons, cozy rustic parlors, or the secluded arcades in the inner courtyard.
As Europe’s oldest restaurant, St. Peter has been combining award-winning cuisine, good vibes, music, and wine culture within the ancient walls of downtown Salzburg since 803. Romantic melodies intertwine with the delicate clinking of glasses. At the elegantly decorated tables, your wedding guests will experience the culinary delights of exquisite dishes and the finest wines, all artfully paired. Here, you can celebrate your very special moment!

Blending Baroque splendor with modern elegance, a wedding concept full of lightness unfolds in Salzburg. Sorbet hues, whimsical wedding florals, elegant wedding stationery, and a stylishly dressed bride and groom come together to create an inspiration that reimagines the story—with contemporary sophistication and deep emotion.

How did you get into this line of work?
I'vebeen working in the restaurant industry for 14 years now. This job is my absolute passion.
What do you love about your job?
Workingclosely with people from a wide variety of fields. There’s always something new, and every event is different—even if you feel like you’ve organized it 100 times already.
What do you like about the wedding industry?
Ilove the uniqueness of every single wedding, since most people have been planning this day—or at least imagining it—since they were children. There’s something magical about seeing a plan on paper “grow” into one of the most beautiful days of a person’s life.
Which wedding trend do you recognize?
Theboho style is becoming increasingly popular for weddings. Boho is a lifestyle that’s all about being unconventional and breaking with tradition. This individualism combines elements of the bohemian and hippie movements.
How would you like to get married?
“Smallbut nice”would be the theme for my own wedding. With my closest family and friends; if possible, on the beach or in a castle garden, with good food and plenty of wine.
