Hochstrass is perched high above the rolling hills of the Mostviertel and the Vienna Woods—somewhat secluded and far removed from everyday life. 167 hectares of meadows and forests surround the lovingly renovated house and its outbuildings—a magnificent backdrop for dreamlike wedding photos and a civil wedding ceremony under the open sky.
The wedding ceremony can also take place in a church setting, as the venue features a 100-year-old consecrated chapel with a bell tower that can accommodate approximately 120 guests.
Afterward, the newlyweds are invited to the gourmet restaurant—complete with a winter garden and panoramic terrace—for the reception and dancing. Guests who don’t want to drive home after the lively celebration can stay in one of the 40 comfortable rooms, while the wedding suite is reserved for the bride and groom. Together with your guests, you can start the new day with a buffet breakfast the next morning.
