Opposite Schlägl Abbey lies the former four-sided courtyard Meierhof, where stylish interiors now blend with the ancient walls of the baroque abbey to create a one-of-a-kind wedding venue.

Across from Schlägl Abbey stands the former Meierhof farmstead, where stylish interiors now blend with the ancient walls of the Baroque abbey to create a one-of-a-kind wedding venue.
In 2018, Benjamin Reischl and his young team took over the Meierhof. Since a major renovation in 2019, the venue has been shining in new splendor. Where rustic charm and luxury go hand in hand, wedding parties of up to 350 guests can celebrate in an exclusive setting. The reception is best held in the stylish inner courtyard, where children will also find plenty of space to play. The adjacent abbey park with its natural pond creates a fairytale backdrop for the photo shoot. The vaulted cellar is the perfect spot for the “bride-stealing” tradition. Overnight accommodations are also available.
The Meierhof team offers you a complete, all-inclusive package. The in-house culinary team creates perfect, customized wedding catering—from the reception and dinner to the midnight snack. You’ll also benefit from a wide range of reliable partner businesses specializing in weddings.
