Matrimonium is picturesquely situated on Kollnbrunn’s Kellerberg, nestled among idyllic vineyards, expansive meadows, and charming wine press houses. Its special location and romantic atmosphere make this wedding venue in the Weinviertel a unique setting for unforgettable celebrations and weddings.
In addition to the special atmosphere, bridal couples especially appreciate the versatile uses of the spaces. The spacious banquet hall can accommodate up to one hundred wedding guests, and the adjacent bar area is ideal for a buffet. An additional room can be used flexibly—for example, as a preparation, makeup, and dressing room; a photo studio; a children’s playroom; or a cozy retreat for your four-legged companions. The outdoor area also offers many possibilities: a stunning panoramic terrace with a romantic wedding pavilion, an idyllic plaza, and a lovingly designed garden invite you to linger and celebrate. All around the Matrimonium, you’ll also find numerous photo spots for lasting memories of your wedding day.
Many venues charge extra for technical services or even tables and chairs—but not Matrimonium. Here, a wide range of amenities is already included in the rental price. The venue combines a stylish atmosphere with modern infrastructure and professional event technology, all without any hidden extra costs. This creates the perfect conditions for you, the bride and groom, to focus entirely on what matters most—along with your guests—a successful and unforgettable wedding celebration.
We recommend that you submit your inquiry or make your reservation as soon as possible, as popular dates are often booked many months in advance. Once we receive your inquiry, we will provide details regarding the scope of services and pricing. Upon receiving your confirmation, we will mark your preferred date as “requested” and schedule a viewing appointment. If you’re still interested after the viewing, we’ll mark the date as “reserved” free of charge and with no obligation for one week. If one week isn’t enough time to make a decision, we’re happy to extend the “reserved” status for up to one month from the viewing date. However, we charge a fee of €60 for this. This fee will, of course, be credited toward a later booking. If you decide to proceed, please fill out our online form, and we’ll send you a draft usage agreement. Once we’ve received the signed copy back, we’ll change the status to “assigned.”
Generally, the wedding venue will be available to you starting at 8 a.m. on the day of the event. However, if there is no event scheduled for the day before, you may also set up decorations the day before, subject to prior arrangement. The legal closing time is 4 a.m.
Of course, it’s not a problem if not all of the guests present at the wedding ceremony or reception are later present for the banquet. If more than a hundred wedding guests are invited, the neighboring meadows and our mobile rose arch offer a great option for a large-scale wedding ceremony and reception.
As a member of the family, your dog certainly shouldn’t be left out on this big day. And to make sure our four-legged friends feel right at home, Matrimonium offers not only the usual water bowl and a supply of treats, but also the chance to run around in the adjacent green spaces. Plus, there’s our special room where they can retreat.
In light rain, nothing stands in the way of an outdoor wedding ceremony, as the terrace and plaza are equipped with large umbrellas. In case of heavy rain, our romantic wedding cellar is available for you to exchange vows. Alternatively, the ceremony can also take place in the banquet hall, though this is reserved for groups of up to 50 people.
