At 847 meters above sea level, nestled in the rolling hills of the Schilcherland region, lies the Herkhof —a place that’s perfect for your big day. Surrounded by forests, meadows, and a touch of history, this farm exudes its very own magic. As a bride and groom, you can say “I do” here amidst nature—perhaps in the enchanting forest, where the trees provide the backdrop for your wedding ceremony, or in the light-filled pavilion overlooking the “Spik.”
Whether you’d like a civil ceremony or a non-religious wedding—both are possible at the “ Herkhof .” The registrar’s office comes directly to the wedding venue, so you can get married outdoors with ease. Just a few steps away is also a church that’s available for weddings. Yvonne Macher ensures particularly personal ceremonies. The independent wedding officiant guides you with warmth, compassion, and a keen sense of what truly matters—turning every ceremony into a unique moment. The celebration follows in the stylish wedding hall. For those who don’t want to drive home after a lively celebration, cozy sleeping arrangements are available right on the grounds. The “ Herkhof ” is no ordinary place—it’s a slice of living romance on Styrian soil. A place where love, nature, and moments for eternity come together.
