Info & TicketsAftergraduating from high school, I took a seasonal job in the restaurant industry before starting my studies in art. It didn’t take long for me to realize that the restaurant and hospitality industries were exactly my calling. So from that point on, I devoted myself entirely to this calling. After completing my degree in hotel management, I met my wife while working a seasonal job. Since then, we’ve shared a passion for the hospitality profession.
Constant change. No two days or situations are alike. Hosting brings joy when you can help others have a wonderful time. What makes us at the Alpenstern Panoramahotel so special is that we love what we do, and that really shows. We have a family-like atmosphere within our team and, for the most part, with our guests as well.
WhatI love aboutthe wedding industry is the variety. Every couple is completely different—no two weddings are alike, and that’s what makes it so exciting. Plus, there’s hardly anything better than being able to be part of such a joyful day, filled with so many magical moments.
The trend is currently shifting back toward more mindful enjoyment. People couldn’t do much during the pandemic. But that also led to a shift in mindset—people are doing things more mindfully now. It used to be totally normal to just grab a quick bite to eat. Now, people are once again carefully selecting their favorite restaurants and really savoring every moment there.
Wegot married in my hometown, on Sylt. The celebration lasted two days. On the first day, we had a small, private civil ceremony and enjoyed a lovely lunch with our family. In the evening, we met up for a get-together at an outdoor bar. We highly recommend having a get-together like this the day before! The guests get to know each other, so the atmosphere at the actual wedding celebration is completely different, since new connections have already been made. On the second day, the church wedding ceremony took place, including the exchange of rings. After the very fun ceremony, we seated the guests in vintage buses, provided them with drinks, and sent them on a tour of the island. We used that time to take the wedding photos. Afterward, we drove to the venue in an SUV—nestled among the dunes, right at the water’s edge. There, we were able to celebrate undisturbed all night long and indulge in some delicious food. All in all, they were absolutely magical days that we still love to talk about.
