How did you get into your line of work?
I grew up in my parents' business—the " Modehaus Mayer " has been around since 1900. You could say I was born into this profession.
What do you like about the wedding industry?
In this industry, you generally get to work with a lot of cheerful and happy people. It’s always wonderful when we can fulfill a wide variety of wishes and help customers find their dream outfits. It’s also always fun to meet the wedding community and work together.
What trends do you see right now?
Generally speaking, just about anything goes. We’re currently selling a lot of suits in various shades of blue, but gray and/or natural tones are also popular choices. The “green wedding” trend is still going strong.
How did you get married?
A very traditional wedding with the family present. If I were to get married today, I'd have a laid-back wedding with just a small group of people, probably outdoors.
