Herrenzimmer in Ried is a concept store that offers grooms, best men, and wedding guests a modern selection of high-quality men’s fashion for the wedding—from classic suits to stylish accessories. In a relaxed, living-room-like atmosphere, you can take your time choosing the perfect outfit for the big day across 150 m². The expansion of the bridal studio in Ried was founded with the desire to make the wedding experience special for men as well.
Each fitting appointment lasts about 1.5 hours and is guided by an experienced consultant. This allows plenty of time to try on different types of suits, discuss cuts, colors, and accessories—and simply enjoy the anticipation over a beer and snacks. In the gentlemen’s lounge, you’ll find not only the perfect suit for the wedding, but also shoes, belts, bow ties, ties, cufflinks, and more. A TV showing live sports, private changing areas, and personalized service ensure that men feel completely at ease. Alterations and pick-up are, of course, also handled professionally.
Whether elegant, modern, or casual—when choosing a wedding suit, a man is selecting a garment that should highlight both his personal style and the vision for the wedding ceremony. We recommend starting your suit search about 4–5 months before the wedding. That way, we’ll not only be able to find the right suit, but also allow plenty of time for any extended delivery periods and alterations—all without any pressure on either side.
Do I need to make an appointment with you, or can I just drop by?
You must make an appointment to try on a suit. Since we are not always in the store during our business hours—we work only by appointment—please contact us in advance.
How long does a fitting take?
We make a point of setting aside plenty of time for your fitting so you can find the perfect suit in a relaxed atmosphere. Time usually flies by—which is why we schedule about 1.5 hours for you. To start, feel free to tell us a little about your wedding: Is there a theme, a specific style, or has your bride perhaps already found her dress? Do you have a favorite cut or any particular preferences? With this information, we’ll work together to select a few styles that you can try on at your own pace in your private fitting room in the men’s lounge. There’ll be plenty of time to take a breather—and, of course, to raise a glass to finding the right suit.
How much should you budget for a wedding suit?
Our suit sets range in price from about €500 to €1,500. It always depends on whether, for example, you’d like a set of accessories (suspenders, cufflinks, etc.), a second bow tie, or a second shirt to change into.
Do you have a tailoring service in the men's room?
Our in-house seamstresses will be happy to take care of your suit. At your first fitting appointment—which we’ll schedule right after you select your suit—you’ll meet your seamstress in person; she’ll take care of the fitting right away. After that, your suit will be sent to the tailor shop. Your seamstress will be there again when you pick up your suit to ensure that everything fits perfectly. If any adjustments are needed, we’ll take care of them and schedule another appointment. If everything fits, you can take your suit home right away. Tailoring costs will be billed by the hour after pickup, based on the amount of work involved.
