Carmen Waibel has always been fascinated by authentic craftsmanship. A trained toolmaker, she changed careers in 2002 and embarked on the creative path of goldsmithing. She has never regretted that decision—because since then, she has been able to fully pursue her great passion.
Carmen places great importance on sustainability, which is why she uses only recycled precious metals. For her, this is the most environmentally friendly approach, because even if—as is the case with fair trade gold, for example—attention is paid to working conditions and other factors, the material still has to be mined first, which inevitably involves interfering with nature.
Carmen is also happy to offer the option of crafting your wedding rings from recycled gold—for example, from heirloom family jewelry. This gives your rings a very personal and emotional touch.
During a free consultation, the goldsmith will be happy to tell you all about materials, finishes, techniques, and gemstones. Carmen is always open to new ideas and likes it when you can see the craftsmanship in a ring: imperfectly perfect, with lots of character. Look forward to wedding rings crafted by a creative artisan who creates truly one-of-a-kind pieces for your love with great sensitivity.
