Barn Wedding at the Gauklerhof with an Unconventional Color Theme
August 10, 2019, was our big day. We celebrated our barn wedding with 100 guests at the Gauklerhof. We chose a pink-and-black color scheme. I’ve always been a fan of soft pink—but not of cheesy, run-of-the-mill weddings. The combination with black not only added that certain something but also brought a touch of provocation into play, and we liked that. After all, as soon as we mentioned a non-traditional wedding ceremony, some people gave us strange looks. With an unconventional color scheme, we wanted to emphasize once again that getting married these days no longer means you have to stick to traditions or rules.

During personal consultations, we take plenty of time to work with our customers to design their dream rings. Every love story is unique—and that’s reflected in our rings. They’re more than just a commitment; they embody the magic of your shared story.
What do you like about the wedding industry?
It’s touching every single time to be part of this very special journey. Every love story is unique—and it’s wonderful to hear these stories. But the rings themselves often tell the most beautiful stories. The circular shape, which knows no end, symbolizes the infinity of love. This thought moves me time and time again.
What trends are you noticing right now?
More and more couples are prioritizing sustainable and ethically sourced materials. Gold and platinum are particularly in demand—they’re elegant, timeless, and exceptionally valuable. Platinum stands out for its purity, gentle white luster, and pleasant weight, which give it a luxurious feel.
Another trend is bold color accents and two-tone designs. Yellow gold is often combined with white or rose gold, creating exciting contrasts and a modern, personalized touch. Thanks to innovative engraving techniques, personal messages or symbols can also be immortalized directly on the ring—turning every piece of jewelry into a one-of-a-kind keepsake.
How did you get married?
When you witness great love so often, you develop a romantic streak yourself. I got married at sunrise on Lake Constance in a small, intimate ceremony—a moment I’ll never forget.
