In 1866, Michael Ritter—great-great-grandfather of the current owner, Tobias Ritter—founded the Ritter watch and jewelry store on Schmiedgasse in Feldkirch. Today, this long-established family business is run by Tobias Ritter, the founder’s great-great-grandson—with the active support of his parents, Gerhard and Sabine, and his brother, Christoph. This means that the fifth generation of the Ritter family is now involved in the day-to-day operations.
