Behind Storymanufaktur is Anna, a talented photographer from the Upper Gailtal Valley. Love led her there, and now she is a photographer, farmer, and mother all in one. Anna has always been inspired by the first of these—photography. The versatile wedding photographer appreciates how photography captures the authenticity of life in such a pure way. No wonder one of her favorite quotes is from Sam Abell: “Photography is, in essence, life illuminated.”
For Anna, nothing compares to the versatility and indescribable beauty of photography, because it allows her to relive life’s best moments—which certainly include those precious wedding moments—time and time again. To capture precisely these moments and focus on the important scenes of the wedding, Anna makes the most of her initial consultations with the couples: The empathetic photographer asks about their needs, wishes, and the unique connection between each couple.
In addition to wedding photography, Anna, through her company Storymanufaktur, also specializes in family, business, and event photography.

Absolutely! I’d love to get to know you both beforehand! I’m really curious about your personal story. What brings you together? How did you envision your big day? What’s most important to you when it comes to your wedding photos? These are just a few of the important questions I have for you. Getting to know you in person beforehand is a must for me—after all, I’ll be there with you on one of the most wonderful days of your lives!
What style of photography do you love?
I’m more of a candid, spontaneous, yet authentic photographer. I don’t like spending the whole day saying, “Stand over here, look at me, do this, do that.” I love photographing whatever is happening in the moment. A tear rolling down a cheek, a heartfelt hug, or a big grin at the sight of the bride—those are my highlights! I love the wedding photojournalism style—I basically capture the wonderful moments of your day in pictures. Not just the obligatory group photo or the ring exchange. No, if you’d like, I’ll also capture the morning preparations or the wedding speech in the evening.
What makes you stand out as a photographer?
It’s that wonderful feeling I get when I hold my camera in my hands and can pursue what I’m passionate about. And that’s exactly what you can feel in my photos. They’re simply genuine, authentic, and above all, taken with lots of love!
