Maria and Pascal are experienced photographers from Vorarlberg. They’re quick, quiet, and right in the thick of things when the most beautiful moments of a wedding unfold. A glance, a tear of joy, or two hands clasping each other more tightly: The two of them recognize these moments and capture them in photos before they’re gone.
Pascal has been photographing weddings since 2014, and in doing so, he’s learned one thing above all else: to look closely. When you observe people, you recognize when a special moment is unfolding—a shoulder that relaxes or a glance that wanders toward the door. Pascal and Maria call themselves “nimble emotion-catchers,” and they mean it literally: they’re quick enough to always be there. Maria and Pascal are married and understand each other even without words. A wedding unfolds in many places at once, but the two don’t need to coordinate: a single glance is enough, and both know where they’re needed. While one of them is with you—for example, during the first look or the ceremony—the other captures the guests’ reactions. That way, you get your story from two perspectives.

Basically, I stumbled into this career while I was training to be an electrical engineer. At first, it was just a hobby, but then things took off rapidly and gained more and more popularity. So that later on, you’ll remember not just the photos, but your entire day. We’re all about the moments in between: the glance before you walk through the door, the tremor in your voice as you say “I do,” the laughter when someone almost drops the rings. For that, we need trust, calm, and a keen eye.
