How do we get in touch, make a booking, and plan the wedding day?
Please send me a short message early on in your planning process with your preferred date so we can discuss the next steps. It’s important to finalize the schedule and details of the day so I can take all your wishes into account and ensure I capture the best possible photos with you. We’ll schedule a consultation at my studio or, if you’re farther away, via Skype. At my studio, you can get a tangible sense of my work through my photos, photo books, and my photographic style. At the same time, we can get to know each other. I’ll prepare a quote based on this consultation.
What happens on the wedding day?
On thewedding day , a photographer will be with you throughout the day, depending on the duration of your booking. With a few exceptions, I work without assistants, as your wedding day is full of emotions that you should simply enjoy. Guests taking photos are, of course, welcome, but please refrain from taking photos during the wedding ceremony and be considerate of the hired photographer. Please allow enough time for portraits so they can be taken in a relaxed atmosphere. Of course, I bring a second set of photography equipment just in case and have a backup photographer on standby.
What happens after the wedding day?
The photos I take undergo my rigorous review, and every image is edited—from basic optimization to artistic fine art processing. Of course, a little more time is devoted to editing the portraits, but all other photos are also processed in the style you’ll find on my website and in my sample books. The process is completed in about two to three weeks. You’ll receive the final image files on a USB drive. Based on my experience, a full-day shoot typically yields at least 600 photos. Upon request, you’ll receive access to a password-protected online gallery; you can share the password with your family and guests as you see fit. For packages that include photo albums or books, you can help select the images and contribute to the layout design for the photo book. This creative design process, as well as the photo book production, will take an additional three to four weeks.
