For weddings lasting eight hours or more, we work as a duo—it definitely makes sense for events of that length. We’re a well-coordinated team and complement each other perfectly. This gives us different angles and perspectives, ensuring you get the best photos. After the wedding, we curate a selection so that the photos harmoniously capture your story and your day. The wedding photos are then edited by just one of us to ensure a consistent style.
Having two photographers at a wedding offers many advantages. For example, it provides more perspectives; two photographers can capture different angles and thus deliver a more varied selection of photos. They can also capture important moments—while one photographer captures the groom as he waits, the other can photograph the bride as she makes her entrance. At large weddings, two photographers can cover more guests and moments that a single photographer might miss. Another advantage is having a backup—if one photographer experiences technical issues, there’s still a second one who can take over. Specialization is also important: one photographer can focus on formal portraits, while the other captures spontaneous, candid moments. And then there’s the time factor: With two photographers, you can plan the “getting ready” sessions in parallel without any stress. While Michi is with the bride and her bridesmaids, Robert captures the moments with the groom and his groomsmen. So two photographers ensure that your special day is documented comprehensively and from every angle.
The standard package does not include interviews with wedding guests. If you’d like interviews with your wedding guests, these can be planned and carried out for an additional fee. The interviews are conducted in a structured manner following prior consultation, usually during the reception or in the evening.
Typical questions for guests include, for example: Describe the bride and groom in three words. What has been your favorite moment of the wedding so far? If marriage were a movie, what would its title be? What are your wishes for the bride and groom’s future? What makes this relationship special? The interviews are later used as bonus material or as part of the wedding film, depending on the agreement and concept.
