“Love is the melody to which two hearts find the same rhythm.” For Markus, this quote perfectly captures what music means to him—and what it means for your wedding. This musician is particularly impressive for his keen sense of the emotion in every note. With great sensitivity, he adds a touching musical touch to weddings, baptisms, funerals, and even champagne receptions.
Markus Gander has been singing since he was 4 years old and has been providing musical accompaniment for civil, church, and independent weddings for over 17 years. He always strikes the right note, whether for same-sex weddings, baptisms, or memorial services. It is a personal priority for him to create genuine, heartfelt moments through his music, turning your day into a true “dream wedding.” Markus will rehearse your song requests free of charge. The number of songs per wedding is always included and can be customized to your preferences.
This experienced musician performs throughout Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and Spain—anywhere your love is being celebrated. Whether it’s a non-religious ceremony, congratulations, a reception, a church service, or a civil ceremony: Markus knows how to provide a stylish musical backdrop for these special moments. He looks forward to getting to know you and bringing your musical vision to life.
Everyone. It’s always very important to me personally to help make your wedding the wedding of your dreams with the songs I sing. That’s why I always learn song requests for free, and the number of songs per wedding ceremony is always included—you’re free to choose them as you like.
Sure, I’d be happy to! And up to 95 percent of all song requests can be accommodated—and for free, since they help expand my song list. It always depends a bit on the type of wedding ceremony: For non-religious ceremonies, there are usually four to six songs, plus enough songs to last until all your wedding guests have offered their congratulations. But I also include additional songs for the champagne reception. For church weddings, there are usually about six to ten wedding songs, depending on the church service schedule or whether a service of the Word or a Holy Mass is planned.
Sure, it’s all “all-inclusive”: travel to the venue, gas, sound system, learning song requests, rehearsals, a sound check 1–2 hours beforehand, travel time to and from the venue, the entire duration of the performance, and all the songs during the wedding ceremony. And of course, you’re free to choose the number of songs.
First, send me your request, including your date, ZIP code, and city, as well as the type of wedding (non-religious, civil, or church wedding). I’ll then send you my quote. Once you confirm, you’ll receive a final booking confirmation. We’d also be happy to get to know each other via email, phone, video conference, or in person—whatever you prefer. You can freely choose your wedding songs from my extensive song list, and of course, you’re welcome to request additional songs—which I’ll be happy to learn for you at no extra charge if they aren’t already on the list. Thanks to my many years of experience as a wedding singer, I can offer expert guidance on the order of the songs and how to integrate them into your wedding schedule. I’ll give you tips on where each song fits best. On the day of the wedding, the only important thing is that there is a power outlet or an extension cord available at the spot where I’ll be standing during the ceremony. For performances where there’s no power available, please order a battery pack from me four weeks before your wedding day—I’ll then arrive with a battery pack, which is also included.
I've been singing my whole life, ever since I was 3 or 4 years old.
