This is about the aesthetics of the details—the importance of those little things that have no obvious function and serve no practical purpose. It’s about loving things for what they are—just as you love each other for who you are.
Something as ordinary as sunlight can serve as a starting point: harmoniously coordinated pastel shades in sunny hues come together to form a balanced symphony of color, maintaining a sense of restraint, while individual, rich color accents create tension and contrast.
This mutual complementarity is also reflected in your outfits. The bridal shoes in soft pink, with their studded embellishment, create a connection to the leather jacket—which also features studs—that complements the elegantly embroidered lace of the wedding dress. The groom’s fedora hat evokes the dandy hidden within the modern gentleman.
The stationery also reflects this play on contrasts: Invitations and place cards feature roughly torn edges that frame the delicate, precisely drawn lines of the calligraphy, and the golden sealing wax anchors the fine paper—just as you do for one another.
