Chocolate & Burgundy Dreams: A Wedding Full of Viennese Charm

This stylish wedding inspiration combines Vienna’s unique charm with impressive architecture and glamorous details. The color palette of burgundy, brown, and white runs consistently throughout the entire design, creating an elegant, romantic atmosphere.

The day begins with getting ready and the first look at the magnificent Palais Auersperg. The journey then continues through downtown Vienna before the civil wedding ceremony takes place at the historic Hotel Sacher. During the coffee-and-cake reception that follows, the Sacher theme is charmingly incorporated, before a stop at a sausage stand adds a modern and authentic touch. The non-religious wedding ceremony and the wedding reception finally take place once again at the Palais Auersperg .

Particularly eye-catching is the wedding dress, custom-made in Vietnam and brought along by photographer Linh. The short white dress with striking puff sleeves is complemented by brown tights, dark red stilettos, and a headband embroidered with silver beads. The groom wears an elegant burgundy wedding suit that perfectly reflects the color palette of the wedding’s inspiration.

The bridal bouquet combines red roses, white and dark red orchids, flamingo flowers, and burgundy-colored, cascading amaranth. The bold colors are also reflected in the table decorations: white fabrics, silver candlesticks with red candles, lush dark red floral arrangements, and elegant pearl necklaces create a glamorous overall look. Pearls also appear as a recurring element in the stationery and the bride’s jewelry. The warm brown tones are a deliberate nod to the famous Sachertorte and underscore the characteristic Viennese flair of this wedding inspiration.

The sweet table also blends harmoniously into the design concept. Alongside a multi-tiered white fondant cake and a cream cake with red berries, numerous small sweets complement the arrangement.
