Just break away from everyday life and change your surroundings. Hop on a plane and leave the country. Why not take the plunge? A wedding ceremony just for the two of you. Ireland’s cliffs are honored guests, and the cool coastal breeze serves as a witness to this union.
This passionate inspiration was born on the coast of the Wild Atlantic Way. The Cliffs of Moher form this impressive coastal route, located near the west coast of the main Irish island in County Clare. O’Brien’s Tower serves as the starting point for the couple’s shared journey through life, which they embark on backpacker-style with backpacks. The finished project was created in collaboration with Austrian service providers and through networking with Irish companies.

Curved lettering looks elegant on plain white paper. The torn edges resemble small waves along the edge of the wedding stationery, allowing it to fit into the overall concept like a piece of a puzzle. A photo in the envelope and the illustration on the “Save the Date” cards offer a sneak peek at the venue. The wedding vows—in English, “Vows”—are framed by a wide, wildly frayed ribbon.
The sweets for this sweet table were imported from Austria by plane. The gray color reflects the Irish sky on that day. Dried oranges and flowers were skillfully used to add color without overwhelming the design with too much intensity. Both the wedding cake and the cake pops and cakesicles feature a harmonious pattern.
Vibrant splashes of color from the wedding florals in orange and yellow glow like tiny, colorful stars in this dark veil that has settled over the surroundings. Orchids, small roses, thistles, and ferns celebrate side by side, held together by a wide taupe ribbon. The stormy April weather lets the individual elements of the bridal bouquet dance carefree in the wind.

Tulle envelops the bride like a warm embrace. This light outer layer is carried by the wind in every direction. The boho-style dress derives its elegance from the deep neckline and the high leg slit, and the look is ultimately completed by white boots. The muted beige of the wedding dress blends seamlessly with the surroundings, as if it were made for them. The groom’s suit is a simple black design, lightened by a white, unbuttoned shirt.
Exchanging wedding vows in intimate togetherness. Deep eye contact as their deepest feelings are revealed. No one else can hear these private words—the sound of the sea ensures that. After the ceremony, the newlyweds disappear. They continue their journey as a couple. Their backpacks are packed; all they need for what lies ahead is the strong bond between the two lovers. As it slowly grows dark and cooler, lanterns illuminate their shared path through life, and the newlyweds set off.
