Completely setting aside current wedding trends, Kerstin Kotschar and her styled shoot team sought to revive traditional colors and elements with their wedding inspiration, “From Russia with Love.” You won’t find trendy colors like gold and pastels or fads like the vintage or boho styles here. Instead, the color scheme focused primarily on classic red (the color of love) and blue (the color of loyalty).
The shoot took place at a time-honored, traditional inn in Graz, whose 1920s-era style and elegantly paneled dining rooms harmonize perfectly with the concept. Gobelin tapestry—which once adorned the walls and homes of noble and wealthy families around the world—served as a central design element, particularly in the stationery. Also worth highlighting is the extraordinary wedding dress by internationally acclaimed designer Lena Hoschek.
The blend of tradition and modernity is clearly evident here. Additionally, the bold use of vibrant colors and opulent floral decorations is immediately apparent. A touch of sensuality is the icing on the cake for this somewhat unconventional wedding inspiration.
